About MakerBot 3D Printers
The MakerBot 3D Printers are leading product used by schools today and incorporates lesson ideas supporting ICT capability in the Australian Curriculum. 3D printing is a new and exciting technology for students and teachers to work collaboratively. Inspire your students to create ‘almost anything’ while developing their design, and problem-solving skills.
MakerBot is the global leader for desktop 3D Printing. MakerBot 3D Printers are reliable and very user friendly. ENS Interactive provides training and sells products relating to 3D Printers, Robots, Interactive Displays and Projectors.
When we start developing a new product, you firstly need to think up a concept, then create a computer file design. Then we can print a bespoke 3 dimensional prototype. Initially builds a solid base layer on the build plate, then the 3D Printer starts building the prototype layer by layer (from bottom to the top layer).
Using traditional mock up samples, expensive tools, moulds and extensive lead times often make creating products near impossible. With MakerBot 3D Printers, students are able to print physical low cost samples, bring students ideas and visions to life. This can be very rewarding for students.
Also, with traditional methods for prototypes, often designs are not what you were expecting. With 3D Printing, you can create designs in stages and assemble them piece by piece. If a piece of the product isn’t exactly what is required, you can 3D Print individual pieces until your prototype is complete.
